Sweet Tea!

A study of 2,200 adults found that drinking tea can lower your risk of getting squamous cell or basil cell carcinoma, the two most common types of skin cancer. The study suggests that EGCG, an antioxidant in tea, is effective at reducing the burn of UV-exposed skin. The study did not entail differences in types of tea, but it did find that those who regularly consume one or more cups of tea a day were 20-30% less likely to develop skin cancers. However, this does not mean you can rid yourself of using other means of sun protection. Drinking tea did not and will not lower the skin cancer risk of those who suffer severe sunburns throughout the course of their lives. So pack your Earl Grey along with your favorite sunblock before playing in the sun!
